Hell on Earth - Chapter 4 - Navy_Night_Sky (2024)

Chapter Text

Under a pretty blue sky with some splotches of blood red mixed in, the city of L.A was as busy as always, though instead of the regular human populace running around, it was demons straight from Hell.

With many humans still in hiding or having fled the coasts, demons were free to take over and go about things they normally would in Hell, claiming land and businesses for themselves as well as houses and apartments. Richer demons wasted no time in moving into celebrity mansions and posting about it on social media. Others were just content with sight seeing, though not everyone was able to be so carefree with time.

In an office building that had risen up from Pride, an imp with large horns was staring out his office window at the city before him, a not so happy expression on his face.

Blitzo the O is Silent Buckzo had no idea what he was going to do. Hell and Earth being combined like this was terrible.

One might wonder why a demon would hate this situation, but Blitz had good reason too. He was the founder and CEO of I.M.P, an assassination business that specialized in killing humans for sinners since sinners couldn't leave Hell, but now with this merger, they just lost the thing that made their business stand out against all the other assassins in Hell.

Let out a grumble Blitz left his private office and went out to the main room where he saw his employees cleaning things up. A lot of sh*t had fallen over and broke.

"Alright gang, let's pause on the cleaning and get to the planning because this whole take over has royally screwed us over." Blitz began as he clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.

"How so B?" Millie asked as she emptied a dustpan into a large garbage bag.

"Because thanks to all this bullsh*t we're no longer special! Now that any demon can leave Hell, Sinners no longer have to come to us, we have competition now!"

"Let's not look on the dark side sir," Moxxie began as he left the meeting room holding a broken pot. "We have good reviews on Yelp and people are always recommending us, we'll still get clients."

"We have good reviews because we've had no competition Mox, but now we're gonna, I can already see other imps setting up shop here! We're gonna have to think of ways to stay on top, to stay relevant. Maybe we can do another commercial! With a jingle that will stay in people's minds driving them mad!"

"We can't afford to do a commercial sir, we need to save our budget to fix up the office."

"Now who's looking on the dark side Mox. Then lets put up a billboard!"

"Again sir we can't afford that."

"Who said we're gonna pay for one, just pick a random one in a good spot and paint over it! No one's gonna stop us and all the humans are gone!"

"That sounds fun!" Millie said.

"And time consuming. Sir me and Millie can't waste time finding the best billboard to vandalize, our apartment was destroyed during the rise so we need to get what we can out of the rubble and then find a place to stay."

"That's right, ugg, I hope my favorite knife is okay. And then we might just have to stay with my parents down in Wrath." Millie said with worry in her voice.

Blitz also began to worry, he couldn't have his only employees aside from his daughter down in Wrath at a time like this. "Well um, maybe I can help you guys find a place! Or you can stay with me in the mean time." he suggested.

"That's kind of you Blitz but, wasn't your apartment also ruined?" Millie asked as she recalled him complaining about having no roof or wall anymore that morning.

"Oh yeah, but nothing a tarp can't fix!"

"Plus you only have one bedroom, and I doubt Loona is willing to give up her space." Moxxie added as he looked over to the sleeping Hellhound at the front desk.

"We can all squeeze into living room no problem, I got a new pull out couch! We can share!"

"That's not ideal sir, we'll just have to move in with Millie's parents for a while and just deal with the commute, or I guess we can dip into our savings and rent a motel." Moxxie began to think.

"That's not necessary Mox, uh here! Follow me!" Blitz said as he grabbed his gun expert and dragged him over to the meeting room to look out of a broken window. "Just look down there Mox! I noticed it earlier. An apartment building full of available rooms to rent!" Blitz said as he gestured to an apartment building across the street that had a large banner advertising rooms for rent.

"It does look nice but this is L.A, we can't afford a place here."

"What can't we afford?" Millie asked as she entered the meeting room."

"To live up here where humans and celebrities live."

"Nonsense Mox, I'm sure the markets plummeted. That place is probably dirt cheap! And think of how easy it would be to get to work! You know what maybe me and Loony and move in too! We could be neighbors! We can have breakfast together every day and I could totally hear you and Mills boink through the walls!"

"Sir that's incredibly inappropriate!" Moxxie yelled as he removed Blitz's arm from around his shoulder. "Besides, moving to the human sounds too difficult."

"Actually Mox, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to move up here." Millie interjected. "I mean our office is here now, it'll be easier to get to targets, and we'd be so close to the beach!"

"I don't know..." Moxxie began to trail off.

"Let's at least look at the place, it'd be nice to just be able to walk to work. No commute, and look, there's a human living there already!" Millie said as she pointed at a red headed woman out on a balcony sweeping.

"I mean, I guess it wouldn't hurt to check out the place." Moxxie eventually agreed as he looked down at the human who seemed to sense she was being looked at and looked up at them before quickly retreating inside. Must be hard to be around demons.

"In that case let's all check it out together! I'd love to be neighbors with you guys! Or we can all live together!" Blitz suggested as he put his arms around them and pulled them close.

"That sounds terrible." Moxxie commented but his words were ignored.

"Alright gang let's leave this mes for later and go see if we can find a new place to live!" Blitz said as he went to the main office and woke up Loona. "Come on Loony were gonna find a new place to live!"

"Huh? What?" the hound muttered out.

"We're going apartment hunting right here in the human world come on let's go!"

Blitz then ran out of the office and the three of them followed after.
