Nice! I just installed some dscosmetic 2 band badger into some vintage handles. I've only bowl lathered with them but I'm impressed with them.

Looking good. I was torn between the Synthetic or 2 Band Badger. The Badger Won.

I've never heard of Kensurf but DS Cosmetics is a Chinese company aka DiShi that probably makes the brush. It's a nice looking handle.

I thought about both but all I’ve owned is synthetic brushes (so far) and I keep hearing the animal brushes smell like “wet dog” so I’m not in a rush to try one.
I was tempted by a horse hair brush I seen for sale and the Oklahoma City stockyards. Maybe one day.

Ken licenses his name to DS Cosmetics. Several of the more popular YouTube shavers have done it.

I got the same brush with a two band badger knot and I have to say for the money it’s a great value. Performs great for me. While I have several synthetic brushes I tend to gravitate to badger brushes when I have time and synthetic when I’m in a rush. On the animal scent part, yes it comes with a little bit of wet dog scent but after I washed it with some shampoo it was diminished greatly and was gone after the second shave. Kensurf is a great YouTube personality and seems very humble, don’t mind supporting him.

I might have to try a badger. I will admit I was a bit apprehensive about buying a brush from some site in China I had never heard of but since Ken put his name and reputation on the line I thought I would give it a try. I’m really glad I did. The quality is amazing and the service was really good.

It's a great badger, I have it and I'm more than satisfied with everything about it. I got along with some other face care products because it had good reviews online, and I don't regret my purchase. The handles it's just great and the shape and size work well for me. I like that it's a synthetic brush because my old one was a natural hair badger and sometime I couldn't handle the smell while it was wet. This one smells nice and fresh and I also like it because it dries very fast.
