Ariel is a mermaid; who possesses superhuman strength, durability, speed, agility, reflexes, leaping, stamina and senses respectively.

Ariel is the princess of Atlantica and the princess of Sardinia.

Ariel is a resident of Sardinia and a former resident of Atlantica.

Ariel is also the daughter of Triton and the late Athena, the younger sister of Mala, Indira, Caspia, Tamika, Karina and Perla, the niece of the late Ursula, the wife of Eric and the adoptive daughter-in-law of the late Maximilius and Selina.

Early life[]

Ariel was born in Atlantica to her parents, Triton and Athena, she also has six older sisters, named Mala, Indira, Caspia, Tamika, Karina and Perla.

When Ariel was very young, her mother, Athena was killed by; a human; which had forced her father, Triton to stop everyone from going to the surface ever again.

But unlike Ariel's father, Triton and most of her other sisters, she did not develop any prejudice towards all other humans in general, as Ariel knows full-well that; it was only one individual, not the entire human race; who was responsible for her mother, Athena's death. In fact, she had; even develop a fascination; with the entire human race in general; particularly human objects.

Ariel's tan skin perfectly complements her glossy auburn hair, peach lips and captivating brown eyes, she adorns a lavender seashell bikini top adorned; with mesmerizing scales intertwined; with the shades of teal.

Furthermore, Ariel's green mermaid tail becomes teal; when it combines; with red and pink scales along; with it's lower part.

After becoming human, Ariel wears a cerulean-and-white dress and wears her hair down, complemented; by a delicate pale pink headband. She also wears pink lace-up boots.

• Mermaid physiology: As a mermaid, Ariel possesses superhuman attributes; such as superhuman strength, durability, speed, agility, reflexes, leaping, stamina and senses respectively. Ariel also still retains most of her other superhuman attributes; even in her human form.
  • Superhuman strength: Ariel is much stronger than normal humans and most other aquatic entities; for example, she was able to lift and carry a statue from Mermen's reef all the way back to her grotto quite easily.
  • Superhuman durability: Ariel is far more durable than normal humans and most other aquatic entities; for example, she is able to withstand the immense underwater pressures. Ariel can also; withstand great impacts; such as surviving falls from tremendous heights that; would have severely injured or kill a normal human.
  • Superhuman speed: Ariel is much faster than normal humans and most other aquatic entities; for example; when she is underwater, she can move at blur-like speeds, as well as outpace great white sharks; such as Glut quite easily. Ariel was able to get from Sardinia all the way back to Atlantica in less than a day. After becoming human, Ariel was also able to get from Ursula's lair all the to the surface in a matter of seconds; before she could drown.
  • Superhuman agility: Ariel is far more agile than normal humans and most other aquatic entities; for example, she was able to outmanoeuvre Glut quite easily; despite the fact that; she was in a narrow space at the time.
  • Superhuman reflexes: Ariel's reflexes are much faster than normal humans and most other aquatic entities.
  • Superhuma leaping: Ariel can leap much further than normal humans and most other aquatic entities; for example, she is able to propel herself out of the water; in a dolphin-like fashion.
  • Superhuman stamina: Ariel possesses far more stamina than normal humans and most other aquatic entities; allowing her to remain physically active for long periods of time; for example, she can exert herself for several hours; before experiencing fatigue.
  • Superhuman senses: Ariel's senses are far more greatly developed than normal humans and most other aquatic entities.
    • Night vision: Due to Ariel's superhuman senses; she can see clearly in the dark.
  • Superhuman immunity: Ariel is completely immune to extremely cold and hot temperatures.
  • Adaptability: Ariel is capable of gaining knowledge or mastering almost any other skills extremely quickly; for example, after becoming human, she instantly knew how to swim and then move in the same time span; but it took her a few minutes to learn how to stand up and then walk in the same time span. Ariel also quickly figured out how to utilize the reigns of a carriage controlled; by Eric's horse, Knig to tell him to go faster, turn and then stop, as well as quickly learning about the humans's customs and culture, as well as the objects that; are utilized; by them. Ariel can also master other skills at a much faster pace that; would have taken normal humans months or years to learn; such as dressing, dancing, horse riding, sailing, undressing, as it has only took her a few seconds or minutes to learn.
  • Aquapathy: Ariel is capable of understanding and communicating; with other aquatic or amphibious entities; albeit only; with other entities that; are sentient.
  • Superhuman lung capacity: Ariel is capable of holding her breath far longer than normal humans and most other amphibious entities; for example, after becoming human, she was able to hold her breath long enough for her get to the surface; before Ariel could drown.
  • Vitakinesis: Via singing; Ariel is able to heal other individuals from physical injuries.

• Aquatic breathing: Ariel is capable of breathing both on land and in the water; indefinitely. But Ariel does not retained the power to breathe underwater; when she is in her human form.

• Expert dancer: Ariel is a highly skilled dancer; for example, after becoming human, she was able to dance; with Eric; with admirable skill, as if she had been a human for years, partly; due to her adaptability.
• Expert rider: Ariel is a highly skilled rider; for example, she is capable of riding horses; such as command the reigns of a carriage controlled; by Eric's horse quite easily, partly; due to her adaptability.
• Expert swimmer: Ariel is a highly skilled swimmer; for example, she is able to swim in a dolphin-like fashion; when she is in her mermaid form. After becoming human, Ariel was able to swim in a similar fashion to humans; due to her adaptability, as she was able to get all the to the surface; before she could drown; without any help.
• Expert singer: Ariel is a highly skilled singer; for example, she is able to sing; with admirable skill. Ariel's singing voice is in fact so beautiful that; even Eric had fallen in love; with her after only hearing her sing to him just once; when Ariel drew Eric to consciousness; with her incredible singing voice after rescuing him from drowning at sea.
• Expert sailor: Ariel is a highly skilled sailor; for example, she was able to steer a ship towards Ursula quite easily, partly; due to her adaptability; despite the fact that; Ariel was in her mermaid form at the time.

Weaknesses[]

• Limited durability: Although Ariel is incredibly durable, she does have her limits; as objects, weapons or other aquatic entities; with enough force can injure her.
• Mortality: Despite Ariel's superhuman levels of durability and vitakinesis; she is still mortal; for example, she can be killed; just like other living beings.
• Oxygen: When Ariel is in her human form; she cannot breathe underwater. If Ariel remains underwater for too long; she will lose consciousness and eventually drown. But despite this, Ariel can at least hold her breath; far longer than normal humans.

Former weaknesses[]

• Limited knowledge: Initially, Ariel had limited knowledge of the human world; regarding their customs and culture; even objects that; were utilized; by them; due to the fact that; she had never travelled to the surface; before and did have any direct interactions; with other humans in general; for example, she once used a fork to comb her hair, mistaking it for a hair comb; due to previously been told; by Scuttle what they are used for; but; when she sees the confused looks on a market vendor and other individuals's faces, Ariel realizes that; forks are not actually used to groom hair, much to her complete embarrassment. But after marrying Eric and starting to live in Sardinia, Ariel's knowledge of other humans in general and the land above water has greatly improved.

• In Hans Andersen's fairy tale, the Little Mermaid's actual name is unknown.
• The Little Mermaid does not have a happy ending, as she lost her prince to another woman and dies; but the little mermaid still gains an immortal soul; due to him believing that; the temple woman is the one; who had saved him from drowning, as the prince never saw the mermaid's face.
